Hogum Bay Logistics Center
Lacey, WA
Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Permit Expediting, Industrial | 97-acre, 1.1 million sf
Hogum Bay Logistics Center is a warehouse and distribution center in Lacey, WA. The 97-acre site was completed in two phases, and includes three industrial buildings totaling 1.1 million sf. Barghausen partnered with IDS Real Estate to provide civil engineering, permit expediting, landscape architecture and construction administration on the project. Our team was responsible for the site planning along with demolition, existing conditions, TESC, grading and paving, storm drainage, and water main extension plans. Phase one included an 811,000-sf build-to-suit Uline warehouse that offers 80 dock doors, 250 parking spaces and a 36’ clear height. Phase two included two warehouse buildings with 32’ clear height and 130’ truck courts. Stormwater plans included an infiltration pond and infiltration gallery with water main extensions throughout the site. There is a wetland on the site so 100’ buffers were necessary to protect the wetlands. Our team worked closely with the city of Lacey for road improvement along Marvin Rd, 31st Ave., and Hogum Bay Rd. The center was developed to serve the needs of Seattle, Portland and the greater Puget Sound areas.
