Previously home to Heartland Express, Tacoma Gateway II is a newly redeveloped industrial space that sits on 18 acres in Parkland, WA. The 277,600 sf warehouse is one of two on the site and has 36’ of clear height. The space possesses 40 dock-high doors, four grade level doors, 130’ truck courts, 231 trailer stalls and 158 additional parking spaces. In addition to site plans, demolition and TESC, our team prepared plans for grading, paving, storm drainage, water quality, sanitary sewer, fire service, domestic water services and vehicle maneuvering diagrams. Our survey crew completed boundary and topographic surveys for the site. We coordinated with the City of Tacoma and the design team throughout the permitting process. Tacoma Gateway II is a 2021 NAIOP Night of the Stars Industrial Speculative Development of the Year Nominee.
