Bridge Industrial contacted Barghausen for the addition of two warehouses alongside West Valley Highway, 64th Avenue South and South 228th Street in Kent, WA. The project consists of two industrial buildings, one with a total of 254,000 sf and the other with a total of 47,000 sf. The total lot size of the new industrial site was 15 acres with a 398 parking stalls and 27 trailer stalls surrounding the buildings. The development also included the surrounding parking areas, and a small vegetated area with a walking path, picnic tables and a bocce ball court for employees to enjoy their breaks outdoors.
Barghausen provided civil engineering and land surveying services for the new warehouse addition. Survey work consisted of providing the client with ALTA and As-Built surveys. Civil engineering consisted of designing plans for the existing site conditions, grading, drainage, utilities including water main extensions and sanitary sewer, flood storage, truck maneuvering and sight distance.
