Centralia DC

The Centralia Distribution Center is located in Chehalis, WA with over 1-million sf of industrial space. This project was spearheaded by O'Keefe Development who contracted Barghausen for civil engineering design, permitting and land surveying services. The project consisted of developing a 1.2m sf warehouse on a 77-acre site. The warehouse features 160 loading docks, cooler and freezer storage, an adjacent maintenance building with covered fueling islands, above ground fueling tanks, and a truck wash.

UNIQUE ASPECTS

The team raised the site to 1.3’ above the 500 year floodplain of the nearby Chehalis River.
The site features approximately 40-acres of impervious surfaces including paving, sidewalks, landscaping area and asphalt paving in addition to the buildings.
5-Acres of pervious surfaces including landscaped islands were incorporated into the site design.
