Avalon Bothell Commons

The Avalon Bothell Commons is a multifamily mixed-use community with an array of living options, commercial space, walkability, community and connectivity. The project consists of a 23 acre development that will house 23 multifamily buildings with over 6,000 sf of commercial retail space on the ground-level. The multifamily spaces will offer the city of Bothell over 800 new apartment units and 110 townhome units as additional living options. Community spaces, including a playground and a park with walking trails, offer residents connectivity throughout the various residential and commercial areas. The new neighborhood will also feature a pool with an amenities building and multi-story parking garages.

Barghausen partnered with AvalonBay Communities, LLC for the development of this project. Our team provided civil engineering, land surveying, permit expediting and construction administration services. Our survey crews provided ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys for phases one and two of the project. Our civil team was involved in providing conceptual, entitlement and construction documents for this project which included demolition, existing conditions, site plans, SWPPP, horizontal control grading, utilities, road profiles, tree retention, water and sewer design. The stormwater design includes 7 different underground detention vaults that route to an existing drainage system.
