Sawyer Trail project is a 566-unit multifamily residential development in Tacoma, WA, designed with quality of life, walkability and nature in mind. The neighborhood features both apartment units and townhomes with 1, 2- and 3-bedroom living options that boast views of Mount Rainier. Sawyer Trail amenities include 2 large community parks, 2 dog parks, a clubhouse and fieldhouse, a resort-style heated pool, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor community rooms with a caterer's kitchen, and fire pit seating throughout the property.

Our team provided civil engineering, land surveying, and permitting services for this expansive community. This development was unique because of its size, both the engineering and construction were completed in multiple phases. Phase 1 involved developing 18 separate 3-story apartment buildings and an amenities center. Phase 2 included the development of a 14-acre addition to the site with 90 townhome units. Phase 3 added 80 more townhome units on the adjacent property with a walking trail for connectivity and walkability throughout the neighborhood campus.
