The Sawyer Trail project is a multi-family residential development that is located in Tacoma, WA. The neighborhood features both apartment units and townhomes with one, two and three bedroom living options that boast views of Mount Rainier. Our team provided civil engineering, land surveying and permitting services for this expansive multifamily community. This development was unique because of its size, both the engineering and construction were completed in multiple phases. The first phase involved developing 18 separate three story apartment buildings and an amenities center on a 50-acre site. The second phase included the development of a 14-acre site with the addition of 90 townhome units. The third phase added 80 more townhome units on the adjacent property with a walking trail for connectivity and walkability throughout the neighborhood. The amenities in the Sawyer Trail community were designed with quality of life, walkability and nature in mind. They include two large community parks, two dog parks, a club house and fieldhouse, a resort style heated pool, a fitness center, a community room with a caterer's kitchen and fire pit seating areas throughout the property.
