The Swedish Medical Center project included the development of a 3-story, 85,000 SF medical facility on a 6.5-acre site. The center has 18 emergency exam rooms, an advanced diagnostic imaging center, an on-site laboratory, and offices for primary and specialty care providers.

The previous site was undeveloped except for an existing single-family residence, which was demolished during the redevelopment phase. The property was cleared and graded in preparation for the building on the central portion of the site as well as parking, drive-aisles, landscaping, and stormwater facilities. The stormwater design included an underground detention vault, an infiltration gallery, and a storm filter. The stormwater system discharges into Bear Creek after detention and enhanced water quality treatment.

Barghausen provided civil engineering design, land surveying, and permitting services for the Redmond Swedish Medical Campus. Civil engineering design included grading, drainage, temporary erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater design, and water and sanitary sewer plans.
