Greenwood Heating and Home Services

Known as Washington’s most trusted HVAC and electrical company, Greenwood Heating and Home Services has been serving the greater Seattle area for over 100 years. Barghausen partnered with Greenwood Heating for the development of their new location in Tukwila, WA. The new space includes a 11,221 sf joint warehouse with a two story office building and a 4,700 sf asphalt parking lot with a gravel lot for excess parking. This project required the demolition of an existing building on the site. Our engineers were responsible for the site plans along with plans for demolition, grading, TESC, erosion control, grading, drainage and utilities. Stormwater plans included catch basins that discharge into a detention vault via underground conveyance pipes. The water is then treated by a 4x4 Modular Wetland System. Our landscape architects created landscape and irrigation plans for the perimeter of the parking lot which included landscape buffers, small and large trees and a mix of pacific-northwest-native botanicals. Our survey crew performed boundary and topographic surveys for the site. Congratulations to Greenwood Heating and Home Services on the opening of their new location!
