Smith Brothers Farms
Federal Way, WA
Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Permit Expediting, Land Surveying, Industrial | 39,300 SF
Established by Ben Smith in 1920, Smith Brothers Farms has come a long way from delivering milk to its neighbors. Now, as a fourth-generation, family-owned and operated company, Smith Brothers Farms supplies over 60,000 households across the Puget Sound with the freshest local milk. In line with this commitment to excellence, the company recently expanded its operations by building a 39,300 SF warehouse on a 4.2-acre property in Federal Way, WA.
The new facility, located at the corner of South 344th Street and 9th Avenue South, is a mixed-use warehouse designed for distribution, storage, and office operations. The warehouse includes a mezzanine office within a fully conditioned metal shell building and ample parking space, with 80 parking stalls provided out of the 58 required.
Our team provided 4 services on this 3 phased project including civil engineering, landscape architecture, land surveying, and permit expediting. We were responsible for the preliminary and final civil design plans, landscape design, permitting, and construction administration for the site. Our team also developed landscape modification, tree retention, and irrigation plans.
