Eastridge Church started their legacy in 1964, creating a space for the community to gather for worship. Eastridge Church has three campuses, one in West Seattle, one in Issaquah and one in Addis, Ethiopia.
Barghausen was contracted by Eastridge Church for the redevelopment of their Issaquah, WA location. This project started with the demolition and clearing of existing structures on the 19-acre site. The development consisted of a two story, 70,512 SF church with a daylight basement. The main building includes a 15,690 SF sanctuary with 1,494 seats, a nursery, children's play area, office space, a warming kitchen and an adjacent reception area. The secondary 640 SF pool house was expanded to a 10,010 SF structure for classrooms and community meetings.
The Southern portion of the site consists of heavily forested steel slopes, requiring detention for the entire site. Stormwater solutions included a detention pond along the western portion of the site, along with a separate infiltration pond adjacent to the main building that handles all rooftop runoff. Frontage improvements included a new 5-foot-wide sidewalk and 500 paved parking stalls with two access driveways. The Issaquah campus is located off SE Issaquah-Fall City Road.
