Bridge Point Kent 180
Industry News
Bridge Industrial announced a new project in the Kent Valley area. Their acquisition of the Maralco aluminum smelter property has set the stage for Bridge Point Kent 180, their third industrial endeavor in Kent. The project aims to repurpose the polluted property back into a thriving, healthy landscape through environmental cleanup and remediation. The building will be designed with LEED certification standards in mind.
Bridge Industrial Partner’s ambitious vision of revitalization and cleanup will transform the site into a productive property that adds new employment opportunities to the local economy. The project is set to break ground in Q1 of 2024 after environmental cleanup takes place.
Development plans include building a 180,000 SF class A industrial space on the 13-acre site. Within the industrial complex itself, Bridge Point Kent 180 presents 36-foot clear heights, with an array of 27 dock-high doors and three grade-level doors. The exterior will feature 219 car stalls and 12 trailer stalls, ensuring ample space for industrial businesses. Bridge Industrial’s prior successes in the Kent Valley include the transformation of REI Co-op's former headquarters into Bridge Point Kent 300 and the completion of Bridge Point Kent 100.
Barghausen Consulting Engineers, Inc. Is providing civil engineering for the project, with partners Synthesis Architects as the design team and Poe Construction as the General Contractor.
