Barghausen Named One of Washington’s Best Companies to Work For!

Earlier this year, our employees participated in an anonymous survey through Seattle Business Magazine about their experience working for Barghausen. The survey covered all facets of what the work environment is like including leadership, communication, culture, values and more. The feedback from the survey landed Barghausen as #23 on Seattle Business Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For! 

Barghausen was described as “A great work environment where employees are encouraged to have conversations and know each other individually. Casual conversations about non-work related topics are encouraged and conversations about a person’s quality of life are supported.”

Our employees are the foundation of our business, our work and this award would not be possible without them! We are honored to be recognized with the other 2020 winners across the state.

For the past 31 years Seattle Business Magazine has been conducting surveys to find the top 100 Best Companies to Work for.  Seattle Business Magazine recognizes the top companies in Washington that set the standard for work environment, rewards and recognition, benefits, communications, responsibility and decision-making, and executive leadership. A common theme across companies on the list is transparent communication from leadership and responsiveness to employee concerns. Their anonymous employee surveys are based on over 25 years of market research and every year, between 450-500 employers send this survey out to their teams. This is the list that all companies want to be on because it’s their own people that put them there via anonymous employee surveys!
