Barghausen joins Chick-fil-A for their Lynnwood, WA Grand Opening
Client Success
Chick-fil-A recently celebrated the grand opening of their newest location in Lynnwood, WA. The new quick-service restaurant (QSR) addition is strategically placed off HWY SR 99 and 196th St SW. The popular chain has rapidly expanded, encouraging Washington residents to "Eat Mor Chikin" at 20 different locations across the state.
Chick-fil-A has teamed up with Barghausen to successfully develop 20 restaurants in both Washington and Montana, including the recent addition in Lynnwood. Our team provided land surveying, permitting, civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the new location.
The Lynnwood project commenced with initial due diligence and conceptual site planning. The property was previously home to a gas station, so demolition plans were a necessity. Our team prepared plans for the removal of a convenience store, fueling islands, underground storage tanks and existing curbs.
The 5,182 SF fast food restaurant sits on 1.19 acres with 43 parking spaces, dual drive-thru and pedestrian corner feature. Our team prepared planning and zoning entitlements, TESC, horizontal control, site, grading, stormwater, sewer, utility, easements, tree replacement, planting and irrigation plans for this project. Stormwater design included managing two separate threshold discharge areas, with an oil/water separator and modular wetland unit for enhanced water quality treatment and Stormtech Chambers for detention.
